Scope: NOXSIGN Player application (Android, Windows).

NOXSIGN Player uses the open source components listed below. Copyright in these components belongs to their respective owners and they are used under their applicable licence terms. Some components are present only in the build for a particular platform; the build in which each component is used is stated next to it.

1. AndroidX Media3 (ExoPlayer) — Android build

Licence: Apache License, Version 2.0

Purpose: Audio and video decoding, playback, network streaming.

2. AndroidX Core — Android build

Licence: Apache License, Version 2.0

Purpose: Compatibility layer across operating system versions.

3. .NET for Android — Android build

Licence: MIT License

Purpose: Application runtime and base class libraries.

4. VLC media player library (libVLC) — Windows build

Licence: GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or (at your option) any later version

Purpose: Audio and video decoding, playback, network streaming, multiple audio tracks and subtitles.

This library is NOT embedded into the program; it is distributed as separate dynamic libraries (libvlc.dll, libvlccore.dll and plug-in files) that the program loads at run time. As required by LGPL 2.1, you have the right to replace the library with a version you build yourself: it is sufficient to replace the corresponding files next to the program with your own equivalent build.

5. LibVLCSharp — Windows build

Licence: GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or any later version

Purpose: Interop layer that makes libVLC usable from .NET.

LGPL 2.1 — SUMMARY AND FULL TEXT

LGPL 2.1 requires that the library's own source code remains available and that the user is able to REPLACE the library with their own build. It does not require the source code of the program using the library to be published. NOXSIGN Player meets this condition by loading the library dynamically and distributing it in a replaceable form. The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

The application icon, splash screen and interface icons were designed originally by İskay Soft and were not taken from any third-party image library.

Channel logos and film posters shown in the application's lists come from the user's own source. Rights in those images belong to the respective broadcasters and rights holders; İskay Soft does not provide or host them and claims no rights over them.
